As you may know the Sealed Air Corporation, the manufacturers
of the CelluPlank® and Cellu-Cushion® polyethylene foam product,
purchased the Ethafoam® division of Dow Chemical approximately
5 years ago. The Sealed Air plants were converted over
to the manufacturing process and product specs used by Dow.
Sealed Air phased out the CelluPlank brand name in favor of the
Ethafoam brand name although they are currently still using the
Cellu-Cushion brand name for the rolled goods. We have finished
all supply on the CelluPlank product long ago and we’re offering the
Ethafoam product only.
All plank goods listed below carry the Ethafoam name while the
rolled goods carry the Cellu-Cushion name.

Ethafoam® (formerly made by Dow Chemical) and
Cellu-Cushion® are Sealed Air's brand names for
their archival quality, polyethylene foam products.
Polyethylene is a tough, flexible thermoplastic resin
which, being inert and chemically stable, meets all
preservation standards. Easy to handle, cut, shape
and form, these products are widely used in protective
packing of fine art and artifacts for both transportation
and storage. Recyclable and reusable.
